A System containing SECOLITE® Cement Board achieves EI 60 Fire Resistance Rating
A facade system consisting of a frame made of galvanized steel profiles, a layer of SECOLITE® Cement Board 12.5 mm on the outside, two layers of gypsum plasterboard 12.5 mm on the inside and mineral wool insulation in the cavity was tested for fire resistance. The system met and surpassed the targeted EI 60 rating.
